Our Story
Why We Started Yumka Travels
Yumka Travels began with a simple frustration: too many visitors were experiencing Bhutan through the same rigid, one-size-fits-all packages — the same three dzongs, the same fixed pace, the same rushed itinerary photocopied for every group.
We’re a small team of Thimphu-based guides and travel planners who wanted to do things differently: build every itinerary from a blank page, shaped entirely around the traveler in front of us — their interests, their pace, their sense of curiosity.
